“The introduction of Dash Replenishment in the U.K will help provide efficiency, convenient reordering options and improved printing conditions for even more of our customers,” said Mark Ash, Director of the Printing Division at Samsung Electronics UK. “Through collaborations with a variety of companies, Samsung will continue its efforts to improve work productivity by creating smart office environments all over the world.”
Customers, including small- and medium-sized businesses using Samsung printing devices can easily sign up for Dash Replenishment from the Samsung Mobile Print app and Samsung Easy Printer Manager (EPM). Samsung EPM is a PC software that provides various print management functions in one easy-to-use system. Using the Samsung Mobile Print app and EPM, customers can also monitor the toner levels of their printing devices in real-time.
“Customers tell us what they love about Dash Replenishment is that their devices know when it’s time to reorder supplies so they never have to worry about overstocking or running out,” said Dean Seifert, General Manager of Amazon Dash. “With Samsung connected printers and Dash Replenishment, customers receive ink cartridges as soon as they need them, eliminating those painful moments when you try to print an important document only to realize you’re out of ink.”
Dash Replenishment was initially introduced in the U.S. in February 2016. It is available for a range of Samsung’s home office printers, as well as multi-functional printers (MFPs) including the SL-C430W, SL-C480FW, SL-M2835DW and SL-M2885FW models in the U.K. Among these models, the SL-M2835DW and SL-M2885FW were chosen as top-performing monochrome printers and MFPs at the 2014 Summer Pick Awards of the Buyers Laboratory (BLI). The SL-M2885FW was also handed the Outstanding Achievement for Energy Efficiency at the BLI’s 2015 Winter Pick Awards.
Samsung will introduce Dash Replenishment on connected printers in additional EU countries in 2018.
